About the role
sudocodelab_new is hiring an individual contributor to build AI agents that automate manual release management and cutover execution processes. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role: you will design, develop, and ship agents that teams use operationally. You will build agents that handle dependency identification, stakeholder coordination, and release orchestration, and integrate them with existing tools such as CI/CD, ticketing, calendar, and approval systems. You will work directly with cutover teams to validate agent behavior, iterate quickly, and deliver production-ready automation. This is a remote contract role based in India. The role requires practical release management experience and strong hands-on coding and architecture ownership — this is implementation, not release planning or program management.
Requirements
- 5-7 years total professional experience.
- 2-3 years hands-on experience in release management / cutover execution (blue-green, canary, traditional cutover, stakeholder orchestration).
- Proven hands-on experience building agents or intelligent automation — you own the code and can explain the architecture.
- Practical knowledge of release management methodologies and cutover execution.
- Experience integrating automation with CI/CD, ticketing, calendar, and approval systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication; able to translate technical decisions for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
- Comfortable working across tech stacks and selecting the right language/LLM/tool for the task (language/LLM agnostic).
- Hands-on delivery focus — able to build, test, validate with cutover teams, and deliver operational agents (not a planning/management role).
