About the role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to drive solution design for enterprise-scale opportunities and large cloud transformation programs. This role will support KPMG's cloud transformation initiatives and lead RFP/RFI solutioning and pre-sales activities. The right candidate will advise clients on cloud strategy, modernization, deployment models, and infrastructure transformation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce scalable, mission-critical solutions. You will lead architecture discussions with enterprise customers and contribute to proposal development and deal pursuits. This position is for senior architects with proven consulting, stakeholder management, and client-facing experience who can combine technical leadership (GCP, IaC, DevOps) with strong analytical and executive communication skills.
Requirements
- 12-15 years of professional experience in Cloud, DevOps, and Infrastructure Modernization
- Proven experience in RFP/RFI responses, solutioning, proposal development, and deal pursuits
- Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud application architecture & deployment
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible and Packer
- Strong DevOps and CI/CD experience, including GitHub Actions and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Proficiency in Python automation and Groovy DSL
- Experience with GitHub and Bitbucket source control platforms
- Experience designing and managing high-availability, mission-critical infrastructures at enterprise scale
