About the role
We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer / Senior Analyst to design and deliver highly visual dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions for strategic clients. The consultant will gather and analyse reporting requirements and translate analytical needs into effective visualizations. You will develop and maintain advanced, interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, define reporting best practices, and act as the Reporting SME for client engagements. The role requires collaboration with data teams and multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure reporting milestones and project goals are met. The consultant will provide strategic, technical, and operational guidance on reporting best practices, support client-facing presentations and reporting read-outs, and deliver actionable insights and recommendations based on analysis of business challenges.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization
- Power BI certification (mandatory)
- Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI development
- Proficiency in DAX (calculated columns, measures, KPIs)
- Proficiency in Power Query / M for data transformation and ETL
- Experience in data modelling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, normalization)
- Experience with Power BI Service features: RLS, workspace management, app deployment, gateways, scheduled refreshes
- Intermediate proficiency in SQL (querying and data manipulation skills required)) Experience with Google BigQuery Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technology field
