About the role
sudocodelab_new is looking for a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to help design and build production-grade data pipelines and knowledge-graph solutions. This is a contract role based in India focused on large-scale data engineering and knowledge representation. You will work with PySpark, dbt, Airflow, OpenSearch and AWS to implement transformations, orchestrations, search/indexing, and knowledge-graph components. The role requires strong Python skills, CI/CD experience (CircleCI or similar), and the ability to operate and optimize data workflows in cloud environments. This is a contract engagement for candidates located in India. We seek an experienced, hands-on engineer comfortable delivering robust, maintainable data systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles
- Hands‑on experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing
- Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks
- Experience designing, building, or maintaining knowledge graphs
- Experience with dbt for data transformations and modeling
- Experience operating OpenSearch (search/indexing) in production
- Experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration
- Experience working with AWS for cloud-based data infrastructure and services (as required)
