About the role
sudocodelab_new is seeking a Senior Generative AI Engineer to work on agent-based generative AI solutions, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) implementations, and model export to Azure. This role is contract-based and fully remote for candidates in India. You will design and implement generative AI agents, build and maintain RAG pipelines, and handle exporting and deploying model artifacts to Microsoft Azure as part of project engagements. The role requires strong engineering focus and the ability to deliver production-integrated solutions. Candidates must have 7+ years of relevant experience and be prepared to work on a contractual engagement from India, collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in AI, machine learning, or related software engineering roles
- Proven experience designing and building generative AI solutions and agent-based systems
- Hands-on experience implementing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures and retrieval pipelines
- Experience exporting, packaging, or deploying model artifacts to Microsoft Azure
- Strong software engineering skills with practical experience integrating ML models into applications or services
- Experience with vector search or retrieval systems (design, integration, or operation)
- Comfortable working remotely on a contract basis from India and communicating effectively with distributed teams
