About the role
sudocodelab_new is hiring senior contract data engineers to design and deliver production data platforms using Snowflake and Databricks. These roles are based in India and focus on building reliable, scalable data pipelines and analytics environments. You will be responsible for end-to-end implementation and optimization of data solutions on Snowflake and Databricks, working with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust ETL/ELT and data modeling designs. The role requires deep technical experience and the ability to make architecture and performance trade-offs for production workloads. This is a contract position. We’re looking for experienced practitioners (8+ years) who can independently own delivery, collaborate with engineering and analytics teams, and drive improvements in data performance and maintainability.
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related roles.
- Proven hands-on experience with Snowflake in production (design, implementation, optimization).
- Proven hands-on experience with Databricks in production (data pipelines, cluster and job configuration).
- Strong SQL proficiency and experience with designing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience in data modeling for analytics and building scalable data architectures.
- Experience tuning and optimizing data warehouse and analytics performance (query tuning, partitioning, clustering).
- Able to work on a contract basis in India and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
