About the role
We are seeking a Senior SAP Commerce (Hybris) Developer to join our eCommerce development team and help design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure SAP Commerce solutions for our digital commerce platform. You will collaborate closely with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA, and DevOps to deliver production-grade commerce features. You will be responsible for building custom modules and extensions, working on complex B2C and/or B2B implementations, migrations, and upgrades, optimizing platform performance and scalability, and implementing RESTful integrations with third-party systems. The role includes participating in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting CI/CD and deployment activities. Location: Gurgaon (hybrid). Employment type: Contract. We are looking for candidates with 6 to 8 years of relevant SAP Commerce (Hybris) development experience and strong hands-on skills across the platform and its integrations.
Requirements
- 6 to 8 years of SAP Commerce (Hybris) development experience (Hybris versions 6.x or 1905+ preferred)
- Strong Java and J2EE skills with extensive Spring Framework experience (Core, MVC, Security)
- Hands-on experience with Hybris core platform components: Backoffice, PCM, Solr Search, Impex/Hotfolder, CronJobs, WCMS, SmartEdit
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful web services (Spring Web Services or similar)
- Database design and SQL experience (MySQL, Oracle, or SAP HANA)
- Experience with version control (Git, Bitbucket) and build tools (Maven)
- Familiarity with CI/CD and deployment automation tools (Jenkins, Bamboo) and containerization/deployment strategies
- Understanding of SAP integrations (SAP ERP, S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform Integration) and hands-on integration experience where applicable, including ERP/CRM/PIM connections if required by projectspecifics in scope of work, and payment gateway integrations such as Stripe (credit card payments, digital wallets, vouchers)
